  • The problem is that the world, mainly the west, has been listening to one side of the story so long that it's only natural they see PKK as freedom-fighters and that there is a real, factual and just Kurdish issue.

  • What invasion? We are only using our legitimate rights as defined by international law. We went in 50 km.s and even the 1946 treaty with Iraq allows upto 75 and UN does not put a limit, as far as I know. We are respectful of other countries' borders and expect the same from them for our own.

  • Resurgent Ottoman Empire? LOL I'm speechless at some things I read here. It's amazing how ill-informed people can be when they are so far from the place and don't know much about its history. Forget resurging the Ottoman Empire, we are lucky if we can save ourselves from the American Empire.

  • What diplomatic solution? I'll only laugh at that. Solution with whom? With USA who's been pumping a fortune to Kurds, practically building up a state over there and arming them and PKK? PKK is using American weapons of the US army there.

  • Well, yes, it is AP but published by Newsvine. This CNN one is no different either. I don't understand why this hot chase thing is exegerrated so much. We did these operations at least 20 times in the past and no one even cared. Undoubtedly now it's a bigger game than this.
